RIFLE. Cal. 22-250. S# 501951. Bbl. 22 5/8". Model 70 originally mfg. by Winchester in 1960 and subsequently customized by renown gunsmith Paul Jaeger, per the consignor. Left side of the replacement bbl. is engraved ".22-250", with the Winchester trademark logo marked on the left side of the receiver at the receiver wall. Receiver and bolt handle exhibit a matte blue finish, with bbl. and bolt shroud exhibiting a blue finish. Bolt body is polished in-the-white. Aluminum trigger guard and floorplate exhibit a blue anodized finish. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock features a cheek rest, ebony forearm tip, as well as a blued steel grip cap and finely checkered buttplate. Receiver is mounted with a Leupold VARI-X II 2x7 scope. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their blue finishes, exhibiting little wear, with some scattered superficial handling marks. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Stock exhibits some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise is very good overall. Scope retains a clear and sharp optic.
