DIAMOND PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. S# 258251. Bbl. 30" nickel steel w/ solid rib & fixed full choke. White target front sight. Action has No. 2 aftermarket engraving by former Winchester engraver Pauline Muerrle. Engraving features marsh scene w/ 2 flying mallards on right side & woodland scene w/ a pointer on the left side. Engraver's signature "PM" is found on lower front corner on right side. Pauline was the last of the Winchester in-house engravers & is the only one still living. Jeweled bolt & carrier. Small forearm & straight grip stock of fancy walnut w/ tournament style hand checkering having black diamonds in both sides of wrist. LOP: 14 1/8" over Winchester buttplate. Mfg. 1921. CONDITION: near excellent as upgraded, retaining 98% finely polished custom blue. Wood has very good refinish w/ freshened checkering. Sound mechanics. Very good bore. (24-4728/DS).
