ENGRAVED BY BILL MAINS WITH CARRYING CASE. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 46047. Two bbl. set. One 33 1/2" for singles trap w/ very high matted ventilated rib. The other 31 1/2" O/U for doubles trap or sporting clays w/ high ventilated top rib & ventilated side ribs. Both fitted w/ 3" steel blinders to keep right handed shooter from using his left eye. Mono-blocs are marked w/ Perazzi importer information & "MADE IN ITALY". Bottoms of mono-blocs are marked w/ Italian nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers w/ date code for 2001. Coin finished, low profile, O/U action. Is fitted w/ removable V spring trigger group w/ single non-selective trigger. Action is engraved w/ near full coverage relief engraving in "gargoyle style" w/ scrolling acanthus terminating in the heads of mythological beasts in a stippled background. This striking engraving is by the celebrated Bill Mains whose signature of a buffalo is gold inlaid at front of trigger group mortise on bottom of action. Bottom of action is also marked "S.C.O." in forend iron mortise. Blued trigger guard bow has matching engraving & is gold inlaid w/ a broken clay target. Strikingly figured & nicely marbled flesh toned European walnut pistol grip buttstock is fitted w/ adjustable '"KICK-EEEZ" pad which is mounted on "R.A.D. System" adjuster. Stock also features adjustable comb. Grip, w/ right hand palm swell, is nicely checkered w/ fleur-de-lis & ribbons through pattern. Matching full forend w/ slight schnable has Deeley type release. MEASUREMENTS: BBL - .727. Restriction -.035 (FULL). O/U. BBLS - Bottom .734. Restriction .014 (LIGHT MOD). Top .734 Restriction .022 (MOD). WEIGHT: w/ O/U Bbls. 9 lbs. 6 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black ABS "PERAZZI" embossed case is lined in black corduroy & contains 3 adjustment tools & stock removal tool. CONDITION: very fine, showing very limited use. Most wear is evident on single trap bbls. where high edges of mono-bloc are somewhat silvered. Otherwise there is a scattering of minor marks in stock finish & metal surfaces. Bores are very fine.
