SHOTGUN WITH CASE. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 80489S7 (1967). The 26-1/2" barrels with matted ventilated rib have Browning St. Louis & Montreal addresses and other correct info including "MADE IN BELGIUM". Sides of barrel are marked for skeet & skeet chokes. Gray superposed action with gold plated single selective trigger is engraved in usual pigeon grade style. A pair of pigeons fly through a field of simple scroll on each side of action and rose bouquets are on bottom. Top of action is relief engraved with usual clusters of oak leaves. No engraver's signature is found. Short tang square knob buttstock of lightly figured Claro walnut measures 14-1/2" over Browning open sided pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Flared target forend matches well. MEASUREMENTS: STOCK: DAH: 2-1/8". DAC: 1-1/2". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/2". WEIGHT: 7 lb. 7 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun is accompanied by a brown vinyl Browning Hartmann case lined in faux fur which contains 2 keys. CONDITION: extra fine, retaining nearly all factory finishes on wood and metal with only a few scattered handling and assembly marks. Checkering remains light in color and nearly all gold remains on trigger. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanically fine. Case is also very fine with some marks and slight soiling. (24-2230/MGM).
