WOOD DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 305830. Bbl. 5". P.38 semi-automatic pistol, mfg. in West Germany by Walther in 1967. Left side of slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, above the model and cal. designations. Left side of the frame is marked with the S#, with a "67" date code, Ulm Proof House antler, and Eagle/N commercial nitro proof present on the forward trigger guard web. Aluminum frame exhibits a black finish, with steel components exhibiting a high polish blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame and bbl. Slide and locking block are unnumbered. MAGS: two 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood display box featuring the Walther banner logo on the exterior of the lid and a blue felt lining on the interior. Case contains one spare mag. and a cleaning rod. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting a few spots of light to mild edge wear overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, with a couple chips present on the rear of the grip panels, just below the frame tang. Case is very good overall.
