MATCHING FACTORY BOX, PAPER TEST TARGET, & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 472471. Bbl. 5". P.38 semi-automatic pistol, mfg. in Germany by Walther in 1992. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, above "P 38", with the S# and "MADE IN GERMANY" stamped on the right. Right side of the frame is marked with an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, followed by a "KC" (92) date code, and an Ulm Proof House antler. Aluminum frame exhibits a black/blue anodized finish, with steel components exhibiting a parkerized finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. White dot blade front sight with wide U-notch rear sight. MAGS: two 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: display case, as well as a matching factory box containing one spare mag., a set of wood oak leaf pattern grips, cleaning rod, manual, as well as a matching factory paper test target. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall, save for a few light superficial handling marks. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Box shows mild exterior wear but otherwise remains very good overall. (24-1304). MODERN. $1,400-1,600.
