MATCHING FACTORY BOX & PAPER TEST TARGET. Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 312390. Bbl. 5". P.38 semi-automatic pistol, mfg. in West Germany by Walther and imported by Interarms in 1968. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information above the model and cal. designations, with Interarms' importer information marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the S# above a "68" date code, Ulm Proof House antler, as well as an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Aluminum frame exhibits a black finish, with steel components exhibiting a high polish blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame and bbl. Slide and locking block are unnumbered. MAGS: two 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory wood grain box containing one spare mag., a cleaning rod, manual, as well as a matching factory paper test target. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory finishes, exhibiting some very light edge wear, with some light superficial handling marks present overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good, showing some smoothing and a few scattered nicks. Box exhibits mostly cosmetic wear from handling and storage, with a tear present at one corner of the lid. (24-1308/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
