Cal. 308. S# 50960. Bbl. 21 3/4". Model 100 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1962. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations, with the S# marked on the left side of the receiver. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for the bolt, which is polished in-the-white, as well as the aluminum trigger guard, which exhibits a black anodized finish. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock. Ramped, hooded, and aluminum beaded blade front sight with flip-up U-notch rear sight. Receiver is drilled and tapped. MAGS: one 4-rd. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish overall, exhibiting a few superficial handling marks, as well as a couple minute spots of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting a couple of small spots of what appears to be light surface oxidation towards the muzzle, while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Stock exhibits some scattered marks and a few minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise is very good overall. A very nice example of a second-year production Winchester Model 100 rifle. (24-3364/MLW). CURIO. $500-700.
