PISTOL. Cal. 22 LR. S# 862882. Bbl. 3 1/4". PPK semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR mfg. by Walther in 1935. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by markings stipulating Walther's mfg. information, as well as the model and cal. designations. Right side of the frame (on chamber), slide, and bbl. exhibit a Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the chamber area, which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece mottled brown Walther banner checkered synthetic wrap around grip. Slide features a matte grooved rib, with a fixed blade front sight and fixed U-notch rear sight. Interior of the slide is numbered "XX2", parallel to the ejection port. MAGS: 1 unmarked matte blue 10-rd. mag., with mottled brown synthetic grip extension. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light to mild wear and thinning, some scattered spots of light surface oxidation, as well as some scattered spots of mild pitting. Mirror bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Grip show mild age related warping, light smoothing, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage, with a small crack present on the left rear edge of the grip. (24-7204/MLW).
