Cal. 30 WCF. S# 1194314. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. circa. 1939-1940. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Winchester's mfg. information marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Single band fastened plain wood forearm and sanded and refinished straight grip buttstock with black and white synthetic spacers and a Mershon White Line ventilated red rubber recoil pad. Ramped blade front sight with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain fair to good amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, scattered superficial handling marks and scratches, as well as scattered spot, patches, and areas of light to mild surface oxidation and pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of light pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Forearm shows some scattered marks and impressions, but otherwise remains sound. Buttstock exhibits scattered handling marks, with several large gouges present on the toeline, a light chip on the left side of the wrist, as well as a repaired crack on the right side of the wrist.
