Cal. 20 Ga. 2-1/2". S# 220777. Mfg 1926. The 28" barrels are marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDAN. CT. U.S.A. TROJAN STEEL" on matted top rib. All correct markings are on barrel flats with gauge and frame size "0" on rear lump. Case hardened action with automatic safety and double triggers is engraved "Parker Bros" on each side. S# is on trigger guard tang. Plain American walnut pistol grip stock measures 14-1/8" over ribbed hard rubber buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching splinter forend has spring tension release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .617. R .618. Restriction: L .022 (mod). R .016 (light mod). Wall thickness: L .028. R .030. STOCK: DAH: 2-7/8". DAC: 1-15/16". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/8". WEIGHT: 6 lb. 4 oz. CONDITION: fine to very fine. Barrels retaining about 90% original blue. Action with 60-70% original case hardening color; fades to brown around bottom. Trigger guard blue is completely flaked to gray-brown. Stocks retain nearly all of their original varnish finish with a scattering of light marks. Action show some hammering marks on right side along bottom edge that are not too obtrusive.
