SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 2376. Bbl. 32" vent rib with white front & mid beads. Top quality scalloped frame Anson & Deeley boxlock action with chopper lump extension and selective ejector. Case colored action has 75% coverage of fine scroll hand engraving with elaborate borders. Engraving extends to the trigger guard, forearm iron, and breech end of the bbl. Semi-beavertail forearm and straight grip cheekpiece stock of nicely grained European walnut with tear drop points. Stock and forearm have wrap around point pattern hand checkering with additional checkering on stock ears. Toeline of stock has an oval silver escutcheon with initials "MS". LOP: altered to 13 7/8" over an aftermarket solid brown Old English pad and 1/2" spacer. DAC: 1 9/16". DAH: 1 13/16". Stock is approx. 1/2" cast off. Bore Diameter: .727. Choke Constriction: .034 Minimum Wall Thickness: .066. Weight: 7lbs. 14oz.. Underside of bbl. is stamped "H.A.L." over crossed pistols proof, denoting Lindner mfg. Discontinued in 1933. CONDITION: bbl. retains over 90% blue showing light edge wear. The action has 30% lightly visible case colors. The stock & forend have moderately worn finish & checkering showing scattered handling marks. The action is tight & on face. Very good bright bore, the forcing cone is lengthened. (25-5030/DS).
