Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1890449. Bbl. 18" Buffalo Arms dated 8-1943 & marked with flaming bomb. Blade front sight marked "J-Q" with protective ears. Flip up aperture rear sight marked "S" on left side & "B-Q" on left. Flat blued bolt marked "EM-Q" on lug. Recoil plate marked "RO-Q" on bottom of tang. Second variation operating slide marked "PI" on inside. Inland marked trigger housing with unmarked push button safety & "EI" marked mag release. Trigger housing pin appears to be non-military replacement. "HI" marked hammer. Parkerized finish. High wood walnut stock with "I" sling cut & green canvas sling. Right side of butt has ordnance wheel cartouche & left sling cut marked "RMC". Two rivet handguard marked "Q-RMC". MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "KSG" for Saginaw. CONDITION: stock set has added finish with a large chip at bottom of wrist, a few scattered abrasions, a small crack behind recoil plate, dings & handling wear. Metal has a worn parkerized finish with some pitting at muzzle & scattered oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore that shows some light pitting.
