SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 GA, opened to 2 3/4" chambers. S# 1414. Bbls. 29" of damascus steel with concave game rib and steel bead. Rib is marked "R. LEES, PERTH". Rounded body case colored boxlock action. Action, trigger guard, forearm iron, and breech ends of bbls. have generous coverage of scroll engraving with elaborate borders. Top lever is engraved "2" indicating second gun of a set. Double triggers and extractors. Splinter forearm and straight grip stock of nicely grained walnut having tear drop points and wrap around hand checkering. LOP: altered to 15" over an aftermarket solid black Limbsaver pad. DAC: 1 9/16" DAH: 2 3/8". Stock has a slight cast off. Bore Diameter: R: .635 (Over Bored), L: .635 (Over Bored). Choke Constriction: R: .007 (IC), L: .020 (MOD.). Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .030, L .033. Weight: 5lbs. 14.6oz. CONDITION: browned bbl. finish has largely faded to gray showing scattered spots of dark corrosion. Action retains faint traces of case colors on the receiver with small spots of remaining blue on the floorplate and long tang trigger guard. Original stock finish shows moderate wear with numerous scratches, marks, and dents. Action is on face. Top lever shows a slight looseness when closed.
