Cal. 38/200. S# B7703. Bbl. 2 1/8". One of 21,422 No. 2 Mk I** double action revolvers mfg. between 1941 and 1943 in Scotland by Albion Motors. Right side of the frame is marked with Albion Motors' trademark logo above the mode designation and "1943". Right side of bbl. is marked with British proofs. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved vulcanite grips. Blade front sight, with square notch rear sight. Bbl. has been shortened from 5" to 2 1/8". All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, cyl., and bbl. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light wear and thinning, with the muzzle and front face of the front sight being in-the-white. Bbl. has been touched up around the front sight base. Very bright bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show scattered chips and marks from handling and storage but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (24-5985/MLW). MODERN. $300-500.
