PISTOL. Cal. 60. NSN. 15" overall, 10" octagonal barrel with gold inset poincon "F. GOETZ PHILADa" and eagle, "GOETZ" on lock. Frederick Goetz was early Philadelphia gunmaker, involved mostly with military contracts when partnered with George Tryon, few of his marked guns are known. CONDITION: fair to good overall, heavily pitted, forestock has about 4" inset repair. Mechanics are fine, clear smooth bores.
