GENERATION DRAGOON REVOLVER TO COLT HISTORIAN LARRY WILSON. Cal. 44. S# 22670. Standard configuration 3rd model dragoon revolver, 7.5" barrel with one line New York City address. Backstrap has fancy script three-line inscription "R. L Wilson / in grateful appreciation / from Colt Firearms Dec. 25, 1976". Revolver is housed in a blue Velvet lined casing with flask & brass bullet mold, and functioning key. Top of case has gold lettered presentation repeated on leather plaque. Colt logo impressed in case lining and on case lid. CONDITION: excellent, retains virtually all of its original blue and case colors, mechanically fine with bright shiny rifled bore, components are equally fine, casing has scuffing on surface.
