1860 ENFIELD RIFLE. Cal. 577. S# 4655. Among the rarest Confederate blockade run Enfield rifles are these iron mounted pattern 1860 with serial number "4655" stamped in belly of stock and JS/anchor Confederate viewer's mark, original long range rear sight, 5 land & groove rifled 33" barrel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: copy of pertinent pages from the "THE ENGLISH CONNECTION" by Russ Pritchard & Corky Huey, detailing this rarely offered longarm. CONDITION: good overall as restored, Potts & Hunt lock appears replaced as it is darker and uncleaned where the rest of the metal on gun which has all been cleaned, bayonet lug is restored, reproduction ramrod.
