LUGER HOLSTER WITH MAGAZINE & LOADING TOOL. Extremely rare leather P.08 Luger holster mfg. by C. Heinichen in 1935. One of the rarest of all P.08 Luger holsters, few 1935 dated holsters remain today, most likely due to low production or due to attrition during World War II. The rear is faintly marked "C. HEINICHEN/ DRESDEN.", followed by a droop Eagle/WaA142", "1935", and "3799". Black leather construction, with possibly re-sewn black leather belt loops on rear. Holster contains a blued 8-rd. mag., with aluminum bottom marked "404/ g" above a "+" and a Mauser Eagle/63 proof, as well as a blued Mauser Eagle/63 proofed loading tool. CONDITION: very good, with the holster remaining malleable, exhibiting some wear, scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, as well as some scattered spots of light to mild age related cracking and crazing overall. Closure flap strap exhibits mild age related cracking. Mag. retains the majority of its blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as a few spots of light surface oxidation. Loading tool is very good, showing some mild wear overall. A very nice example of an extremely rare 1935 C. Heinichen production P.08 Luger holster, complete with a Mauser proofed mag. and loading tool. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (02-24305/MLW). $1,000-1,500.
