LUGER HOLSTER, WITH MAGAZINE & LOADING TOOL. Extremely rare P.08 Luger holster mfg. by Carl Heinichen in 1935. One of the rarest of all P.08 Luger holsters, few 1935 dated holsters remain today, most likely due to low production or due to attrition during World War II. Interior of holster is marked with a partially legible "CARL HEINICHEN/ DRESDEN" above a droop eagle (mostly indiscernible Eagle/WaA142) proof, and "1935". Rear of holster is inscribed "TF". Black leather construction, with black leather belt loops on rear. Holster contains a plated aluminum bottom mag., that appears to have been renumbered during the period to "4170/ a" above a "+" and Mauser "B90" proof, and a blued Mauser "B90" proofed loading tool. CONDITION: leather remains malleable, exhibiting some wear, scattered marks from handling and storage, as well as areas with varying degrees of age related cracking and light crazing overall. Closure flap strap exhibits light to mild age related cracking. Mag. exhibits some scattered spots of flaking and mild pitting. Loading tool is very good, showing some spots of light pitting overall. A nice example of a 1935 production Carl Heinichen production P.08 Luger holster, complete with a proper period mag. and loading tool. PROVENANCE: the Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (02-24304/MLW). NON-GUN. $800-1,400.
