SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. Cal. 308 Win. S# 01694. Bbl. 20". Model 770 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by in Germany by Heckler & Koch and imported by SACO in 1971. Left side of bbl. is marked with the cal. designation, followed by an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, HK's "HI" (71) date code, and an Ulm Proof House antler. Left side of receiver is marked with SACO's importer information above HK's mfg. information and the cal. designation. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock with schnabel tip forend and black polymer trigger guard. Ramped blade front sight with flip-up square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 3-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting scattered superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand.
