63. May 4, 1863, Page – to Kennard, Instructions to meet Pilot and bring vessel into the river.
64. May 9, 1863 “retained copy” Kennard – to Sec. of Navy Mallory, requests transfer after junior officer Webb promoted over him in squadron.
65. May 11, 1863, “retained copy” Kennard to Page, Report on obstructions in water below Thunderbolt…depth of water, etc.
