Morrison worked in Milton PA. where he died in 1844. (Consultant note, There are very few mule ear Kentucky rifles & the fact is the very earliest blacksmith made hand forged examples seem to have all been made in the Synder County area. Since the majority of those known to exist were made by Morrison, it is felt he may have made the earliest & rarest examples). CONDITION: clean in original condition throughout. PROVENANCE: Collection of Dr. John Persing. (01-19633/RG). ANTIQUE. $3,000-4,000.
