Cal. 308. S# 00198. Bbl. 20". Manufactured mid 1980's by Bob Holloway. He designed this lightweight .308 battle rifle following his time in Rhodesia. It is fed using modified Armalite AR-10 magazines, which were reasonably available at the time. It was designed so that a complete field strip could be accomplished using only a loaded .308 round as a takedown tool. It utilizes an adjustable gas system w/ a separate gas shut off for launching grenades. Threaded muzzle w/ a flash hider resembling a Ruger AC-556 style. It has a right side folding, tubular stock. Robust iron sights utilizing a protected post front sight w/ a dual aperture protected rear sight. Black plastic pistol grip & front handguard. Left side non-reciprocating charging handle that rises above the top cover like a Galil-style rifle. Left side controls. AK-Style mag release. The most visible Model 7 rifle was probably the one made for Col. Robert Brown of Soldier of Fortune bearing the serial number "RB007". MAGS: 1 factory 20 rd. CONDITION: Matte black finish on receivers & shoulder stock enjoy complete coverage w/ a few scratches. Blued barrel & flash hider show full coverage w/ some long rectified patina under close examination. Bore is bright w/ visible rifling.
