PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Glisenti. S# C456. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1913 Brixia semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Metallurgica Bresciana gia Tempini (MBT). The top of the bbl. extension is marked with an encircled intertwined monogram. Frame is devoid of external proofs, save for a "C" on the front of the trigger guard and a crown over "D.S" on the left rear trigger guard web. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the bolt and trigger exhibiting a nickel plated finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips, each with an Italian heraldic eagle at tt the center of the panel. Right grip is marked with a boxed "MBT". Standard fixed blade front sight and V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (interior), sideplate, trigger assembly, bbl., bbl. extension, bolt, as well as numbered small parts on the interior. MAGS: 1 nickel plated 7-rd. marked with a crowned "D.S." proof on the left. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their arsenal blue finish, showing areas of wear fading to gray patina, scattered handling marks, as well as scattered spots/areas of mild pitting overall. Grip straps and front of trigger guard exhibit heavy cleaning, showing a gray patina and mild to moderate areas of pitting. Bolt and trigger shows some flaking showing through to dark oxidation, with the top forward section of the bolt having been cleaned in-the-white. Dark bore, exhibiting consistent mild to moderate pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Grips show scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (25-3507). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
