Cal. 7.65mm. S# 117. Bbl. 3 1/2". Selbstlade pistole mfg. by Nordheim circa. the 1920s-1930s. The left side of the slide is marked "SELBSTLADEPISTOLE CAL. 7,65. D.R.G.M./ G.V.N.". Right side of the frame (above trigger guard and on chamber area) and slide exhibit a Crown/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Professionally made reproduction checkered wood grips, retained by 2 nitre blued grip screws. Slide features a groove, which acts as a sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, trigger, and slide (interior). MAGS: 1 in-the-white 8-rd. Mag. follower and spring are absent. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, as well as some scattered spots of light pitting overall. Near mirror bore, exhibiting what appears to be some light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Action occasionally needs to be re-cocked in order to lock the hammer. Grips are excellent overall. Mag. body shows scattered areas of moderate pitting. (25-3516/MLW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
