EYEDROPPER FOUNTAIN PEN. Circa 1909. This beautiful original Parker pen is housed together with its original eyedropper in its original period pen case. The pen in two parts; the writing shaft mounted with slabs of abalone having ornate filigree gold band above and below the abalone. Retaining its original Parker Lucky Curve pen #3 nib. The gold cover also of elaborate floral relief. Marked “Parker Fountain Pen pat 6-30-91.1-3-05." Engraved on the frontice of the cover is a fraternal symbol with shield and axes “F. C. B. “Presented by IB of SF"". The case with original green velvet lining retaining its original eyedropper. The interior lid marked “The Parker Curve Fountain Pen Janesville, Wis. USA.". SIZE: Case 6 1/8" l x 1 5/8" w. Pen with top 5 1/4" l. CONDITION: generally very good both case and pen. (05-1144/JJ). $1,500-2,500.
