Cal. 22 LR. S# NSN. Bbl. 19 5/8" having black alloy "shark fin" blade front sight; blued with adjustable rear sight incorporated into the front section of its receiver cover having integral grooves for scope mounting. Mfg. May 1962 (1962-1964; 25,312 units) as the only lever action firearm ever made by Remington. Mohawk Brown nylon stock has checkered panels plus white diamonds on forend. Model designation is molded into the grip cap. Initial advertising by Remington referred to the Nylon 76 as a "Trail Rider" model. CONDITION: very presentable example with light pinprick to peppery oxidation on receiver cover. Stock is very good to excellent with very minimal, faint handling marks. Slight finish loss on front sight. Near excellent bore and barrel finish. PROVENANCE: From the PMRB Collection. (25-5949/NW). CURIO. $750-1,000.
