FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL. Cal. 60. NSN. 13" Overall. Bbl. 8 1/4" 2 stage oct. to rnd. tapered brass w/ flared muzzle, “LONDON” marked on top flat is barely discernible, commercial London proofs on left breech, brass lock has worn engraved design. Pistol appears restocked which would not be uncommon especially in America for even well worn but usable parts from this prewar pistol. CONDITION: very good overall, appears all original w/ professional wood restoration around lock & wrist. Brass has light mustard patina, iron has mottled dark gray patina w/ pitting. Mechanically sound w/ clean smoothbore. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of John "Tim" Breth Jr. (01-17777/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,500.
