.22 LR target bbl. for the Romer pistol mfg. by Romerwerk between 1924-1926, with less than 3,000 units produced. The Romer pistol was designed with an easily removable bbl., allowing for the user to swap between pocket and target sizes with ease. This example is marked "Kal. 22/ Long rifle" on the left side towards the breech, with a Crown/B proof marked on the right. Underside of lug is marked with the S# "844". Bbl. exhibits a rust blue finish. Nitre blued adj. blade front sight mounted on a concave dovetailed base. Top of the bbl. features a matte panel towards the breech. CONDITION: bbl. retains the vast majority of its original of its original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots of light edge wear, some diminutive superficial handling marks, as well as some small spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a couple of small spots of very light to light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. (02-27412/MLW). NON-GUN. $100-200.
