Cal. 380 Rim (38 S&W). S# 161-41434. Bbl. 2 3/4" with pinned serrated blade sight, caliber marks on right and "warning" marks on left; frame notched rear sight. Mfg. 1985 (1970-1988 for entire DA series) as SS382L for Indian and Bolivian governmental sales per RENE Reference Guide; other internet info states for Indian Army or Indian Border Police. Caliber is of British origin being 38 S&W with 200 grain bullet referred to as "38/200". Later features of the DA series with high backstrap plus stainless hammer and trigger (smooth faced). Round butt configured with lanyard loop plus checkered walnut service stocks having small all silver medallions. Right side of recoil shield is without scallop. Offered through Ruger Collectors' Assoc. (Bulletin No. 21) in 2017 as factory over-run along with 4" variation and stated less than 250 of both within the US. Some references indicate SDA382L. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: correct box with added tape plus foil with off white tape having serial number. Other internet examples have same appearance including inked serial number on top, but not with blue masking tape on end. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent appearing new and unfired.
