RECEIVER. S# 9365. This stripped receiver was mfg. in March 1939 and was originally assembled as a gas trap rifle. Receiver has the correct "seventh round" modification. Right forward end of the receiver is marked "NB 2 D 28291". Receiver bridge and receiver bring both have punch proof marks. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: copy of CMP invoice, dated "01/11/10" and a copy of CMP auction site bidding information. CONDITION: receiver retains approx. 70% of its original finish with moderate wear and scattered small spots of oxidation throughout. (24-5529/RW). MODERN. $500-700.
