WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 22 LR. S# 329486. Bbl. 5 1/8". P.38 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR mfg. in West Germany by Walther and imported by Interams in 1970. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information above the model and cal. designations, with a "9/69" date code, Eagle/N commercial nitro proof (repeated on frame and bbl.), and Interarms import mark present on the right. Left side of the forward trigger guard web is marked "70", followed by a Ulm proof house antler, above an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Alloy frame exhibits a black anodized finish, with steel parts exhibiting a phosphate finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips. Standard dovetailed blade front sight and U-notch rear sight. Sides of slide exhibit lightening cuts at the slide bridge. MAGS: x2 blued steel 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box, containing a cleaning rod, manual, and matching factory paper test target. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the safety / decocking lever. Grips are very good to excellent overall. Box shows some light exterior wear, with a tear present at two corners of the lid.
