Cal. 30-06. S# 1633134. Sometimes referred to as the "Dash 13", these rifles were produced by Winchester late in WWII using receivers that had been manufactured in 1943 & laid aside until about 1945. The 24" bbl. has "WP" proof on right side. M1 action marked "Winchester trademark" at rear. Right front of action where hidden by wood marked "D28291WIN-13". Bolt & trigger assembly are "WRA" marked. Sight marked "Battle Range". Walnut stock has "OC" & "WRA" proofs on left side. Rack no. "39" painted on bottom of grip. Rifle fitted w/ canvas sling. CONDITION: good to very good. Bbl., action & other parkerized parts show considerable wear. Stock has old oil refinish w/ markings somewhat obscured. Bore is fine to very fine. Throat & muzzle both ga. 2.5. Action is smooth.
