EJECTOR SINGLE TRIGGER SINGLE SIGHTING PLANE SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# S18772. The 30" London steel barrels fitted with raised solid rib have L.C. Smith info on top of right barrel. Barrel flats are stamped with grade and S# as well as Hunter proofs. Case hardened sidelock action features non automatic safety and single selective Hunter one trigger. Action is engraved in usual Ideal style with large acanthus leaves on lockplates which are also marked "L.C. SMITH". S# is on trigger guard tang. Crotch figured American walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 5/16" over thin red rifle pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching splinter ejector forend with inlet ebony tip has "J" spring release with secondary latch in oval steel escutcheon. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .727. R .727. Restriction: L .034 (Full). R .022 (Mod). Wall thickness: L .040. R .037. STOCK: DAH: 2 5/8". DAC: 1 9/16". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14 5/16". WEIGHT: 7 lb. 15 oz. CONDITION: very fine as completely refurbished, retaining nearly all restoration type finishes on wood and metal with some minor marks. Bores are bright and shiny.
