Cal. 36. S# 290. Bbl. 7 1/2" octagon w/ cone style front sight. Six shot round cyl. w/ safety notches & double wing cyl. pin. Blue finish w/ brass trigger guard. 2 piece walnut grips. Estimated quantity of 14,500 mfg. 1861-1862. CONDITION: blue has largely faded to brown showing small spots of corrosion. Brass trigger guard has a spotted dark tarnish. Grips show wear & handling marks, left panel has an added wood repair along backstrap. Sound action. Bore retains sound rifling showing scattered light pitting.
