1) MODEL 17. Cal. 20 GA. S# 38973. Bbl. 26 1/4". Model 17 pump action shotgun mfg. by Remington. Top of the bbl. is marked "MODEL 17", followed by Remington's mfg. and patent information, with a "FULL" marked on the left towards the breech. Left side of the receiver is marked with the Remington trademark logo above "MODEL 17" and the S#. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Lightly sanded and refinished grooved wood pump and plain wood pistol grip buttstock with grooved black synthetic Remington buttplate. Aluminum bead front sight. Bbl. is numbered "6750". CONDITION: receiver retains traces of its blue finish, with the balance having faded to a gray patina, showing light to mild pitting overall. Bbl. retains the majority of its original blue, showing some areas of wear and thinning, some spots of mild pitting, and scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Bore is relatively bright, showing scattered patches of light to mild pitting, with fouling present towards the muzzle. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows a few small marks and impressions, but otherwise remains sound. (25-4477/MLW). 2) MODEL 29 WITH SPARE BARREL. Cal. 12 GA. S# 24734. Bbl. 28 1/8". Model 29 pump action shotgun mfg. by Remington. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Remington's mfg. and patent information above "12 GA." and "MOD". Left side of the receiver is marked with the Remington trademark logo above "MODEL 29" and the S#. Sanded and refinished checkered wood pump and pistol grip buttstock with a Galazan red rubber recoil pad. Solid matte rib with flattened aluminum bead front sight. Receiver and bbl. exhibit matching S#s. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: non-matching 26 1/8" blued bbl. with fixed Full choke, solid matte rib, and brass bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain traces of their original blue finish, with the balance having faded to a mottled gray/brown patina, showing areas of light surface oxidation. Very bright bore, exhibiting some spots of mild surface oxidation. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the butt exhibiting a crack on the left side stemming from the receiver. Spare bbl. retains the majority of its original blue finish, showing spots of light surface oxidation overall and retaining a very bright bore, with some streaks of fouling. (25-4507/MLW).
