1) MODEL 31 PUMP ACTION. Cal. 12ga. S# 32531. Bbl. 22 1/8". Model 31 pump action shotgun mfg. by Remington. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Remington's mfg. and patent information above "12 GA." and "MOD". Left side of the receiver is marked with the Remington trademark logo above "MODEL 31" and the S#. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Lightly sanded and refinished checkered wood pump and brown synthetic capped pistol grip buttstock with grooved brown synthetic Remington buttplate. Pistol grip cap screw is an improper replacement. Solid matte rib terminates in a Lyman Cutts compensator with an aluminum bead front sight and Modified choke. CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their original blue finish, with the receiver and trigger housing having largely faded to a mellow gray patina with spots/areas of light pitting. Bbl. and Cutts compensator retain fair to good blue, showing areas of wear and thinning that are fading to gray and brown patinas. Bright bore, exhibiting some spots of light to mild pitting, with some fouling present at the breech area. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and small impressions from handling and storage, with the buttstock exhibiting a crack on the right side of the wrist, and 2 cracks on the underside of the wrist, all stemming from the receiver. (25-4452/MLW). 2) SPORTSMAN 48 SEMI-AUTOMATIC. Cal. 20 GA, 2 3/4". S# 3817615. Bbl. 25 1/2". Sportsman 48 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. by Remington. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the cal. designation followed by "IMP. CYL.", with Remington's mfg. and patent information marked on the right. Left side of the receiver is marked with the model designation and S#. Metal components exhibit an aftermarket applied parkerized finish overall, save for on the alloy trigger housing which exhibits a black anodized finish. Checkered wood forearm and pistol grip stock with black synthetic and rubber recoil pad. Bbl. terminates in a Lyman Cutts compensator with an integral aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied parkerized finish, showing some spots of light pitting beneath the finish. Mirror bore. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows general finish wear, as well as scattered marks, scratches, and impressions, with the forearm exhibiting a 2 1/2" crack on the left side that stems from the receiver.
