TARGET RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 07401. Bbl. 28". Model 37 "The Rangemaster" bolt action target rifle mfg. by Remington in 1948. Bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting Remington's mfg. and patent information, as well as the model and cal. designations, with a "TT" date code marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece plain wood pistol grip target stock with grooved aluminum buttplate and 3 1/4" hand stop rail. Toeline of butt and hand stop rail feature sling swivels. Bbl. is fitted with a Lyman Targetspot 10x scope. MAGS: x1 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of apparent light pitting and finish loss (primarily on the bbl.). Bolt body shows some spots of light surface oxidation / pitting. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows some minor superficial marks and small impressions, but otherwise remains sound and presents nicely. Scope retains a clear and sharp optic.
