Cal. 32 ACP. Ser. #PA90615. Bbl. 3-1/2". Fixed sights. These pistols were designed w/ a hesitation lock by John Pedersen. Approx. 65,000 were mfg. between 1918-1926. One notable Model 51 owner was General George S. Patton. Pistol is marked on right side of frame "Remington" & "TRADEMARK". Slide is marked on top "Remington Arms Company, Inc. "Ilion, N.Y. U.S.A." & patent information. Marked on left top of trigger guard w/ "RS". Bbl. is marked in ejection port "32 CAL" & "7.65 M/M". Grip safety, side safety, & mag. safety. Checkered black composite grips w/ "REMINGTON UMC" logos. MAGS: 8 rd. Mag is marked "32 CAL." CONDITION: pistol has 85% original blue finish w/ light high point wear, scattered sm. spots of missing finish notable under trigger guard, & scattered spots of peppery oxidation. Front of slide has light holster wear. Grips have light wear & flattening of diamonds. Notable scratch on right grip. Shiny bore w/ lightly worn lands. (22-4328/RW) CURIO. $350-550.
