FACTORY BOX. Cal. 380 ACP. S# PA56460. Bbl. 3 3/8". Model 51 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Remington in April of 1927. Top of slide is marked with Remington's 2-line mfg. and patent information across the grooved matte rib. Left side of the forward trigger guard web is marked with a "CU" date code, with a small anchor proof marked on the obverse. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with some small parts exhibiting a nitre blue finish. Bbl. is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Remington UMC checkered black synthetic grips. Standard integral blade front sight and square notch rear sight. MAGS: x1 blued steel 7-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory box containing cleaning rod and factory manual. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear and some scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips are very good overall. Box is poor, showing heavy exterior wear, with tearing present on each corner of the lid and body. (25-5440/MLW). CURIO. $400-600.
