ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 243 Win. S# 188761. Bbl. 22". Model 700 ADL bolt action rifle mfg. by Remington in 1981. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Remington's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the cal. designation, with a "DB" (September, 1981) date code marked towards the breech. Left side of the receiver is marked with the S#, followed by the Remington trademark logo above "MODEL 700". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt body, which is polished in-the-white. 1-piece impress checkered Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with checkered aluminum buttplate and aluminum trigger guard. Iron sights are absent, with plug screws remaining. Receiver is fitted with a 2-piece scope mount featuring Telstar 1" scope rings and a Tasco 4-16x40mm scope. Bolt matches the receiver via the full S#, which is electro-penciled on the underside of the body. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear at the muzzle, and some superficial handling marks overall. Trigger guard exhibits some light edge wear. Buttplate exhibits some areas of a previously applied brown painted finish. Bright bore. exhibiting scattered spots of light pitting, while retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows scattered marks and small impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. Scope retains a clear optic. (26-2152/MLW). MODERN. $350-500.
