AM ARMS RECEIVER. 1). REMINGTON MODEL 870 PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga. 2 3/4". S# 391196V. Bbl. 27 1/2" including Cutts choke / compensator assembly; "705FC" marked choke. VR "SKEET" marked barrel with mid bead on rib plus bead on compensator. Mfg. 1950-1963 with "WINGMASTER MODEL 870" on receiver. Checkered stock set with brown Pachmayr ventilated White Line recoil pad (13 3/4" LOP). UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair original manual, choke wrench plus green Cutts labeled wooden box with 5 additional chokes (680, 705, 740, 755 and SPR.) plus provision for choke installed on shotgun. CONDITION: very good refinished stock set missing grip cap; professionally fitted pad. Faded finish on compensator and cleaned peppery oxidation on receiver and barrel along with thinning. Near excellent bore. (24-1549/NW). 2). AM ARMS CO. SEMI-HAMMERLESS BREAK ACTION SHOTGUN RECEIVER. Cal. 10 Ga. S# 34399. Bbl. NONE. Mfg. about 1901 as Series 2 in Boston. Soon after, moved to Bluffton, AL (Series 3) and was soon out of business with AL taking the company for back taxes. Walnut stock with smooth steel buttplate having widows peak. Nickeled action with side cocking lever. CONDITION: poor with non functioning action. Suitable as parts only. (24-1555/NW). BOTH MODERN. $250-350.
