Cal. 50-70. NSN. Bbl. 36". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1000yds. Remington Rolling Block rifle with last patent date of 1874 on upper tang. Rifle appears to be a NY Militia rifle with half-cock safety. Rear sight appears blued while balance of metal is polished bright. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & leather sling. Left side of butt has modern dope tag. Ramrod present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: aftermarket leather softcase, sfotcover book "The Yellow Book of Selected Articles" by Croft Barker, hardcover Book "Remington Rolling Block Rifles & Shotguns Sporting & Target Rifles" by Roy Marcot, loading data for the 50-70, Lyman 3-piece reloading die set with dummy round, a set of bullet moulds, about 80 pieces of brass, a small bag of lead bullets & small reloading press. CONDITION: sanded stock set shows a couple light chips, some dings & handling marks. Metal polished bright with some light oxidation & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
