Cal. 62. NSN. Bbl. 12". A fine quality reproduction of an 18th century British sea service belt pistol. Barrel is unmarked with decorative rings near the breech. Iron lock has a crowned "GR" under the cock with a small crowned broad arrow under the pan. The rear of the lock reads "TOWER". Brass trigger guard, buttcap, side plate, ramrod thimble, and ramrod cap. Oddly, the long iron belt hook attached to the side plate appears to be original. CONDITION: all iron parts have a similar artificial gray patina. Brass parts have an aged mustard patina. Wood shows several minor dents & dings. Action needs adjustment. Good but dirty bore. (01-24083/BF). $200-400.
