Cal. 69. NSN. Bbl. 38 5/8" oct. to rnd. 54" Overall. Bbl. has indiscernible proofs & “3787”. Early lock w/ rebated tail has indistinct maker’s mark forward of cock. Brass furniture, including bands. Each brass component is stamped “I.S” inspection. CONDITION: very good overall. Appears original & complete, except missing 3" front section of trigger guard. Bbl. & lock have dark iron patina w/ pitting around breech & pan. Brass has light mustard patina. Stock is sound w/ scattered bruising, cracks along bbl. channel in forestock. 2 Sets of initials carved contemporarily on either side of buttstock. Mechanically fine, even though frizzen has wobble at base. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti. (01-19284/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
