Cal. 577/450. NSN. Bbl. 21 1/2". Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1000yds that moves free from the bbl. Royal Irish Constabulary Martini Henry Carbine. Right side of action has Enfield markings with "II/2" & 1876 date. Breech marked "S-X". Blued finish. Walnut stock set with added sling hole on toeline. Right side of butt has two facing Broad Arrows & faint Enfield roundel over "II". Brass stock disc marked "RIC/9360". Replacement ramrod present that is loose. CONDITION: sanded stock shows a couple small cracks, some chipping, staining & handling marks. Action retains strong arsenal blue with scattered thinning, fading, oxidation & pitting. Bbl. & bands are a gray patina with oxidation, pitting, dings & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling. (01-28956/MJC). ANTIQUE. $250-350.
