Cal. 22 LR. S# S5472. Bbl. 23 1/4". M69 bolt action training rifle mfg. in Romania and imported by Century Arms. The top of the bbl. is marked I M C 2/ 1978/ S-5472" towards the breech, with a Century Arms' import mark present on the right, and various Romanian proofs present overall. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip stock, with grasping grooves and flat plain steel buttplate, featuring a spring loaded trap door. Buttstock exhibits a band of white paint at the rear. Ramped and hooded post front sight, with dovetailed 3-leaf rear sight, graduated 20, 50, and 100. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and bbl. Bolt is mismatched. MAGS: 1 aftermarket Taiwan mfg. 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original blue finish, exhibiting some areas of light wear and thinning, some scattered spots of light surface oxidation, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting what appears to be a band and/or bulge towards the muzzle, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with scattered flaking on the painted white band. (25-2063/MLW). MODERN. $150-250.
