CARBINE. Cal. 223 Rem. S# 180-47869. Bbl. 18 1/2" with banded ramped serrated blade front sight plus factory receiver sight at rear. Blued model mfg. 1976 with receiver marked "MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY"; no "warning marks" which were initiated in 1977. Early features to include M-14 style roller on bolt lug, wood handguard, aluminum carbine buttplate, early type of bolt hold open latch (external), stepped barrel plus sling swivel loops made of flat bar stock rather than current (more common) round wire loops; 1" leather military style sling. Fitted with Realist side mount holding Bushnell Sportview 3-9X32mm scope having gloss finish and crosswire reticle. MAGS: 1 factory 20 rd. (curved) with light use marks. CONDITION: an occasional faint handling mark, but generally near excellent to include bore and scope set. (23-6343/NW). MODERN. $500-750.
