CARBINE. Cal. 44 Mag. S# 103-10668. Bbl. 18 1/2" with brass bead front sight and folding leaf rear; right rear adjacent to receiver has "1961-1985" over "25TH ANNIVERSARY". Mfg. 1985 (1961-1985) and shipped 2003 as the result of a Ruger benefit auction conducted on Gunbroker. Approx. 5,000 Anniversary Models issued to clean up remaining inventory before its discontinuance. Proper features including: uncheckered walnut carbine stock having square cut forend and black Celcon carbine buttplate, riveted in receiver cartridge guide and button cartridge release in loading area. Very popular and collectable fast handling, brush hunting carbine that weighs less fully loaded than the popular lever action carbine weighs empty! UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original box with newer Ruger bar code label applied over part of original (still readable). Engraved violet colored metal tag from Southport Loan Archives. Manual dated 4/82; original without red "out of production" markings. Shipping sleeve to FFL dealer in CO. CONDITION: all aspects near excellent with new, unfired appearance. (23-6800/NW).
